Hotel Figueroa was built in 1925 as a YWCA hotel and opened in 1926 as a hotel serving traveling women and their families. At the time, it was one of the largest women-owned real estate investments in the United States and housed 400 guest rooms.
It was also one of the first to feature modern facilities like a beauty parlor and barber shop. The Publick House Historic Inn was established in 1771, and maintains its 18th century ambiance while providing 21st century comforts. Our 17 guest rooms in this historical setting are decorated with period antiques or reproductions and each room is unique. Chamberlain House, which was once an old farmhouse that offered overnight accommodations, was reopened in 2016 after renovating the farmhouse portion and adding new construction that now features 20 guest rooms, including 12 suites.
