From Deck 14, you can conquer the SkyRide (52 inches minimum height) or SkyCourse (48 inches minimum height). Both of these attractions offer stunning views, and may be difficult for anyone with a fear of heights. Both require closed-toe shoes and have weight requirements to be aware of.

Just like adults have their own spaces aboard Carnival Panorama, so do the kiddos. There’s something for every age group, so no one’s left out on the fun, right down to the offerings for infants. WaterWorks is Carnival Panorama’s answer to an on-board water park and it has everything that you’d expect from a company whose main objective is to provide as much fun as possible. This unique venue offers fun games and activities, like bowling and billiards. Beyond fun, the Vista class also introduced new staterooms to the line, such as Cuban-themed staterooms and Family Harbor staterooms.

Compared to these other cruise lines, Carnival does lack in the food department. This was one of our favorite places to relax after dinner and enjoy music. Further down the deck, you will find JavaBlue Cafe and Shake Spot. The Javablue Cafe opens early and is home to your specialty coffees (including spiked coffees) and shakes in the afternoon. The Lido Deck main pool area is where you will also find the deck parties each night, and where they play movies as well.

While we aimed to maximize our fun onboard the ship and ashore, at other times, we also looked for quieter moments where we could recharge. While we focused on complimentary dining throughout our cruise, near the end of our trip, we decided to have a special night out at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse. We indulged in surf and turf, an amazing wine selection, and unlimited appetizers and side dishes, and dessert. The steakhouse is $38 per person, and I think it's well worth the upcharge for the memorable food and service. One of our favorite morning activities was attending free trivia tournaments. We ended up making new friends each time and my friend even led our team to victory and is now the proud owner of a "ship on a stick" trophy and whale-tale medal.

Carnival Panorama offers two main dining rooms, Horizons, and Reflections. The main dining rooms feature select items from the onboard steakhouse, available for an additional fee. I enjoy this pool early morning and late evening, when it's a bit quieter without the DJ and impromptu dance parties.
