His house isn’t the most beautiful of places, nor is it located in the most appealing region in the game.
Castle Volkihar (Dawnguard DLC)
The house itself is rather beautiful with a rocky exterior and a spectacularly tiled rooftop that no other house in the game can match. This is also the best house that you can purchase in Solitude, the capital city of Skyrim. Breezehome is another top-quality early game home that is located in a very central location in Whiterun.

From its theme to its unique design, mechanical impacts, and great introductory quest, Bloodchill Cavern hits every single note. The Staff of Worms is a powerful artifact that once belonged to the legendary necromancer Mannimarco. Finding it is made even better because of the unique effect that flings it across the room where players find it when they first enter the door.
